Stage 2 Improv is a Naples-based improvisational theatre group featuring scenes, games and songs that
are created right before your very eyes! If you liked the television show “Who’s Line is it Anyway?” and
the improv troop The Second City, you’ll love this! The actors utilize information given by the audience
to build the show! Every scene and game is driven by suggestions from the audience. Some games
may even feature audience participation! You never know what an evening will bring, which makes
each show different from the next.
Stage 2 Improv was founded in the winter of 2012 by Judith Gangi Santos and Mike Santos (co-founders
of the former comedy group Naples City Improv).
Mike Santos has been performing his kooky brand of improv for the past 5 years. Originally from the backwoods of Upstate New York, Mike has lived in Naples since the fall of 2003. Along with his search for bigfoot, the need to find the perfect pizza and his passion for air guitar, he has a flare for entertaining. Mike was part owner and player of the improvisational comedy group Naples City Improv (2008-2012). For those who look to test their comedic skills, Mike offers an introductory Improvisational Theatre class at the Naples Players. He has taught improv at the Health and Wellness Center, part of the "Living the Present Moment" series. Much love to his wife and other half: Judith Gangi Santos. Acting credits include: Lysander in Midsummer Night's Dream (Shakespeare in Paradise, 2012); Paul in Barefoot in the Park (The Naples Players, 2013).
Judith Gangi Santos
Judith Gangi Santos has a fever...and the only prescription...is more cowbell. During the day, Judith is a mild-mannered AVP for American Momentum Bank on Fifth Avenue. At night she throws on her cape to perform improv comedy to the masses and save them from infinite boredom. Dun dun dun! Judith was also part owner and actor with Naples City Improv (2008-2012). Her most proud accomplishment was marrying the love of her life: Mike Santos, you may have heard of him. Acting credits include: Babe in Queen of Bingo (The Island Players, 2012); Reporter Pig in The True Story of the Three Little Pigs (The Naples Players, 2009). Directing credits include: Four Part Thunder (Stage 88, 2007)
